I went by Cabo San Lucas yesterday on my way to Todos Santos. I was going to go to Minerva's to get some drag washers for my Newells. They've torn the
place up in another direction now and I didn't want to hassle with the maze of detours so I just went on by. I'm going in to La Paz though. I don't
know La Paz well enough to have ever run across a tackle shop. Are there any good ones there?

I am not (yet) aware of any Tackle specific shop in LP. The CCC has a few items in a cabinet just as you walk in. I would suggest that you contact
some of the charter services for the area such as Fisherman's Fleet or Tailhunters Intn'l. If you find something please post here. I always need
more tackle.

There's a large one on the 16th Sept. going south on the left hand side I think cross street is Altamirando. 10-12 blocks from Malecon.

The one Comitan speaks of is a very large, well equipped store. They do rod and reel repairs. They also have another store on the other side of town,
mainly for the commercial guys.

Thanks for the replies. I was told to go to Aronja Marine and ask there. They sent me to Deportes Ortiz next to the Mas department store. They were
just leaving for lunch when I walked in. Pretty sure I found the washers I needed. Haven't put them in yet but are the same size anyway. They should
work till I can get some stuff from the states.

A reliable source for reel repair and parts can be found at Verdugo's RV in LB. A gabacho named Dan has a huge inventory of parts and is muy
friendly.

Yes RoundToIt---that's the place! Good, well-equiped store, friendly people inside, and the usual Baja surcharge on all imported products.
