There is a very (VERY) large billboard on the far north end of Rosarito announcing the imminent opening of... Applebee's.woody with a view - 3-21-2009 at 06:07 PM

Try near in time for a definition. And it is my understanding that there is a single entity that holds the Applebees' franchises for Mexico. The good
news is that not all franchises translate. Pizza Hut has had difficulty in Mexico. Houlihan's even more so. But even indiginous franchises struggle
depending on location/ region. Grupo Anderson, with the ubiquitous Carlos and Charlies, Senor Frogs, Mama Roma, El Shrimp Bucket, Etc. Have opened and
closed at various sites around the country. The Gull - 3-22-2009 at 08:04 AM
More dangerous than El Teo.
