Has anyone had brown sun spots removed from their skin in La Paz by a dermatologist. I am interested in Laser resurfacing to remove the spots on my
face.
I am interested in the outcome and the cost as compared to the US.

Actually, there is at least one very fine plastic surgeon in La Paz. She speaks English quite well too. I know she has a laser, but I don't know
anyone who has had this particular procedure. I have seen the out come of her work on a couple of friends down here, very very nice.

I think you'd get the most reliable information for your specific needs if you mentioned the type of laser treatment you're looking for. The CO2 or
erbium lasers that vaporize superficial layers and leave you scarlet red and oozing for a while?
Or the non-invasive, IPL (intense pulse light) lasers that deliver a light beam below the epidermis to zap spider veins, broken capillaries, and sun
damage discoloration?
Some places call both "resurfacing" which is misleading because non-invasive IPL- type lasers work below the epidermis and don't remove any layers of
skin.
IPL treatments are pretty effective on brown spots and sun damage and the newer models are supposed to stimulate collagen growth. IPL does require 5
or 6 treatments to see the full effect though, and they recommend spacing them a month or so apart for the best results.
With any of these treatments you want the person with the wand in their hand to have a lot of experience and know their equipment. And If you're
looking for the real "laser" laser, I'd ask to see before and after photos of their work before I let them loose- it's not a procedure to take
lightly.

I'm interested in the laser treatment that will make me even more irresistible to the ladies. You know, if it is actually possible for me to be even
more irresistible to the ladies.

I think for laser resurfacing, it's a dermatologist. Definitely available in Ensenada and TJ. At least half the price of the US.
