The funniest thing about this truck was that it was an example of how every time you "make it" through a road that seems to be a formidable obstacle and makes you feel proud of your vehicle and driving skills, you run across an old Mexican piece-of-XXXX clunker like this that "conquers" the same road daily as part of their ordinary routine.

This road was full of water crossings, some of which were just about up to my headlights and I've got close to 10" of clearance underneath my 4x4. While JR seemed to show no fear with his (in)famous van, I was beginning to wonder if maybe we should have heeded the warning one local had given us about taking this road. Then along comes this ol' truck (at least it was one once) with no door and fully loaded with wood. He just cruises through the arroyos with the water washing through the open cab.

Helped me to remember not to take anything I do too seriously.:spingrin:
