Magnificant tiles and ceramic work

Seeing Mike Odells beautiful sinks I started thinking about the marvelous tile art we've come to love and appreciate.

They are like beautiful birds or butterflies, one must turn to stop and look.

The artists canvas becomes a more permanent part of our lives. Impressive artistry but more importantly, a reminder of something magical and beautiful. Something unique yet something common.

It's all eye-candy to me. I make a point of stopping to ogle the art. Sometimes the work will pop up in the most unusual places.

Bathrooms and bars, homes and hotels, walls and walkways.

There must be a plethora of great artists in Baja. Thanks to them for making the world a more beautiful place.

Lots of creativity in Baja. I have seen how difficult it can be to fire tiles and get the vibrant colors (except with some toxic glazes). Impressive and beautiful work. Thanks.

Love the McCaws (a Scarlet and a Catalina). One day soon I will have a bar like the one above!

Hurricane John claimed the bar. It's somewhere off the coast of Guaymas I believe.:wow::o:wow:

That was #2. I doubt we'll build another, hope you can. All those used tiles made up an unusually creative top. Thanks Udo.
