Did you eat at Saverios? Some say the best restaurant in town.
But, the restaurant next to Chicago Club is more convenient and has an interesting clientele. ;-)

Great shots. Interesting to see how hotels are conveniently located next to some of those bars :saint:

Back in the 70's when I attended College (photography) I had the opportunity to bring to Tijuana Mr. Arthur Ollman, a well known night photographer that at the time had an exhibit in San Diego called "Exposing for the Shadows".
He is known for his bizarre architectural night photos. By making long exposures on color negative film. We would go to almost pitch black places in neighborhoods, the beach, parks and others and start taking pictures of very long exposures using color film

Great night work, Bajagringo! What ISO were you shooting at?

DianaT - 4-3-2009 at 08:53 AM

Those are really wonderful night shots---what a great tour, also.

Now, if you don't mind, can you share the technicals?

Thanks
Diane

Nice.

Nothing quite like Tijuana on a Saturday night.

Wow, I really enjoyed these images. You were in some very interesting, and famous, places!

Ferna, these are great images. The lighting is just fantastic. Thanks for sharing these.

They would be great subjects for jigsaw puzzles.

Yes, it is the best restuarant in TJ. Been there many times and have had many guests there as well over the years. Always super service and great food.

Very impressive, Gringo. Thanks

Fernando,

Thanks for that great link, Fine Art Photography! Wonderful lighting, texture, depth, psychology. Beautiful.

What a great set of images Gringo. As you know many of us are afraid of Tijuana at night, a shame really, as it used to be one of my favorite cities and a real treat to see it in this way. Stunning images really.

Makes me want to back down there for evening dining!
