On my Nomad Hero list;

Shari; for her help to us personally and to all she has brought to Nomads and others.
She is DA BOMB !!
FDT; for his help to stranded travelers and others - more than you know !
Also for his undying love of all things Baja including his many charities.
Trotters; for great pictures, a rescue trip to El Rosario and more.
Pompano; for the best and most entertaining posts and pictures.
Osprey; for all the wonderful stories that keep us thinking.
TW for a tow, Ron for a parts delivery, many more for great offers of help.
And Doug; for enabling us all to be posting and meeting Nomads !

bajadogs - 4-3-2009 at 01:41 PM

surfer jim - 4-3-2009 at 04:12 PM

And I thought it was ME for trying to discover the location of ALL "secret" surf spots....

Otherwise excellent choice....

vandenberg - 4-3-2009 at 04:16 PM

After Pescador's suggested intelligence list, maybe we should also have a popularity list.:?::?:

Dennis, maybe your turn to start one, since you were adamant of being on the first.:biggrin:

Hope he qualifies you in the upper bracket.:?::biggrin:

Packoderm - 4-3-2009 at 04:19 PM

Who's Doug K? Do you mean David K?

Yup!

David K - 4-3-2009 at 04:20 PM

Before she was a Nomad, I was very impressed when she told me how she wanted to help her village of Asuncion by introducing the place to the Internet. Way to go Shari!

shari - 4-3-2009 at 05:25 PM

Oh me oh my!!! Deeeeep Blushing...and an even deeper courtsey. Mil gracias amigos but many of our nomad amigos deserve equal recognition. We do what we can and most Nomads would do the same. Love the poster though...thanks...although maybe not the most flattering photo. I'm overwhelmed amigos.

Shari, I totally agree with this nomination! Time after time you have been there to assist those in need, no matter what it is! You and Juan have done a lot for a lot of people, both in your local community and other areas of Baja - and Nomads in need of help or just ofering great accomodations there.
You guys are amazing people!

It was that "kini" top that cinched the photo, skulls are big w/us...... plus it was one you posted! I'm impressed by those "swimmers" shoulders you sport there girl and quite frankly I think it's a good one!

shari - 4-4-2009 at 08:00 AM

that bikini was given to be none other than our own Bajagypsy!!! great day of the dead outfit eh...those are typing shoulders:spingrin: and that photo was a self portrait on my birthday this year...too funny.

windgrrl - 4-4-2009 at 09:33 AM

Gets my vote for exemplary status, too!

EnseNADAslim - 4-4-2009 at 11:02 PM

This calls for a celebration! I say we all meet in GN, Party down with our Nomad of the Year and then go Whale watching!---whatá ya think bout that idea Shari?

Bajahowodd - 4-4-2009 at 11:43 PM

Can't quibble with an odds-on winner, but what's the prize? :P

shari - 4-5-2009 at 07:41 AM

LOVE the party idea....to celebrate whatever...just no jug wine por favor!!!

Gadget - 4-5-2009 at 02:27 PM

Yep! Shari es numero uno

Skeet 2nd. Never met him, but always lurk his posts. Brother in the Lord too. Not so easy on this forum, with a few.

mulegemichael - 4-5-2009 at 08:18 PM

yeah, baby!...you are numero uno in our book, kid...hey...bringing a bunch of buddies down in late may/early june....any reason we should come to your place for a few days...like in fish?..lemme know

Cypress - 4-7-2009 at 11:59 AM

In the fishing catagory. Pescador!!!

LancairDriver - 4-7-2009 at 09:48 PM

Pompano and David K are high up on the list with a lot of us also. Lots of good info and tons of Baja experience generously shared.

Sharksbaja - 4-8-2009 at 12:53 AM

Yes but this last year Shari has been instrumental in countless situations.

vandenberg - 4-8-2009 at 10:52 AM

And..let's face it...this girl put Asuncion almost single handedly on the map, especially where Nomads are concerned.
Well done Shari, especially for a Kanuckian.:biggrin:
...of which breed my wife is one, I might add.:P

vivaloha - 4-9-2009 at 10:58 PM
