Skeet, every time I read your "nekid women on motorcycles!", I start grinning from ear to ear. Not only because that catchy phrase defines you, but because it always conjures up a happy memory about a certain Baja visit from.....
.. Nekid Women on Motorcycles!

And Skeet, I will certainly welcome any naked/nekkid riders to my home in Coyote Bay. It's not like we haven't had those before.

Here's a little story for you about nekid wimmin on bikes.

A little while back..oh, maybe 15 years or so...I was motorcycling out west and met some fellow bikers in Newport while doing that beautiful Oregon coast ride. Come to think of it, we first met on Bay Boulevard, not too far from nomad Sharksbaja's great cafe in the tourist district. We all rode over to the Oregon Oyster Company to get some succulent Yaquina Bay oysters.

We visited from some time and shared stories about places we'd been on our cycles. They were all young patrolmen from the Bend area..with thier pretty wives and galfriends..all having a great time on thier Harleys. Called themselves The Bend "Harley Hogs" and were a very congenial group. I told them about what I thought would be a really great trip for them. The Baja Highway. And before parting company I gave them my Coyote Bay address.

Sure enough the next winter a half-dozen Harleys thunder into my driveway. Each Harley carried one guy/one gal. It was great to see them again. We partied at mi casa and did some fun rides around Mulege and Conception Bay in the next few days.

Now comes the Neked women on motorcycles part...

First...all this group rode were Harley Davidson's. Harley riders are a brand-loyal group, as lots of nomads will know. My motorcycle at that time was a Kawasaki Vulcan. A nice dependable road machine, but .. NOT A HARLEY.

One afternoon, we had all rode down to Buenaventura..then it was George's Ole beach cafe... for some mushroom burgers. It was pretty warm that day and we all wore lighter, comfy riding gear.

I was especially impressed with the outfit that one very pretty gal was wearing. A skimpy, but beeeyoootiful bikini top and open riding chaps with just a thong. "A nekid woman on a motorcycle"...well, almost.

(Gotta tell you I rode caboose behind her most of the day and never saw such great scenery on that highway before.)

Anyway, we are now parked next to the beach cafe and we start yakking about our bikes.

I was trying to explain my choice of the Vulcan over a Harley, when the gorgeous top and bare-bottomed riding chaps beckons me over to the Harley she is sitting on. She scoots back a bit on the seat and tells me to take the front. I manage to do that facing away from her, grabbing the handlebars and straddle the Harley.

She leans forward and stretches around me to reach the ignition key...starts the Harley with a Vrrrooomm..rummble-rrrrrummble..you know, the great sound & vibration only a Harley can achieve.and she purrs...

"Now.. doesn't that feel better?"

I traded the Vulcan.
