Laying mash with the Darryll and Darryll.
All three of our dogs eat laying mash...so far no eggs.
We are not sure why the roosters eat it either

Thanks Judy... very nice!Osprey - 4-11-2009 at 04:19 PM
Beautiful shots and great greenery at your place. The ocean temps have held off old man winter where we are -- bright new buds on my fire tree are
pushing last year's old leaves out of their way. Winter didn't make it all the way here and now spring has come unbiden. Of course it helped all the
plants here who got more sun when we went to daylight savings.vandenberg - 4-11-2009 at 04:36 PM

Sorry Judy, pineapple plant picture went missing
I have a few of these also. Biggest drawback is it takes a lot of patience. Lots of times you would swear they went dead.
End result is worth it.
Did you ever manage to grow an actual pineapple??

Beautiful, Judy.
I'm just starting to garden in BCS. I have a lot of succulents in San Diego, but my garden in La Paz faces southwest and I'm afraid it will be way
too hot to start cuttings. Are your succulents under shade/semi shade or do they adapt over time to the desert sun (with water, of course)?

Ed-
Yes we have harvested 3 pineapples over the years. We must have 20 plants. They had a special on pineapples last summer and they were priced per
pineapple, not by the kilo, so everyone was twisting the tops off and leaving them in a box. I asked the produce guy if I could have them and,
shaking his head, he said yes.
They seem to take about 3 years to produce fruit
BTW it didnt went missing for me
Dana-
That picture was taken of one on the northwest side of our house and gets a good bit of sun. Aloe does quite well in full sun
edit-needed some punctuation.
