You may want to scan for malicious software, trojans and the like. If you remember when this first appeared, you could use the Window restore to a date that preceded the problem.

delete the program again. reboot. download the program again, maybe it's saved in the cache?

don't ask me where the cache is.....

I think it's saved somehow on you Google Earth account on line. Probably the best place to ask would be the yahoo Google Earth group

My guess is it is in the layers, shoul be on the bottom left. Start unclicking the various layers till it disappears.
