It was an exciting moment when at sunset Mr.Gypsy spliced some wires together to turn on the lights for the first time in the SHED!
Needless to say, a celebration was in order! they have been working hard doing wiring, plumbing, planting trees and flowers etc.
But all work and no play makes gypsys wanna play.
So we had happy hour down at the beach at our house...these are some happy kids!
they had fun in the big swell but poor mr.gypsy couldnt spear a grouper as the visibility was decreased by the big waves so they just played in the
surf.
Tomorrow I will kidnap Ms.Gypsy and take her to the big mother's day fiesta...(which is back on now) while the macho men go rattlesnake
watching.....ewww.BajaGringo - 5-9-2009 at 10:35 AM
You just keep setting the bar higher Shari...
Those of us up at the B.A.N. (Bahia Asuncion Norte) homestead love your photo reports and insights into life there at that wonderful place. There is
so much in common in lifestyle, topography and feel to the place. I just hope we can duplicate your great chemistry you have forged and protect...
Congratulations Gypsy Clan!!!!

They may not ever go back to Canada with so much luxury (and so little snow) in Baja!
Congrats Baja Gypsy Family!Paulina - 5-11-2009 at 08:52 PM
Gypsy,
Why were your hands wrapped in the Mother's day thread? Hopefully nothing serious.
P<*)))>{shari - 5-12-2009 at 07:20 AM
Ms.gypsy has very sensitive skin and she made the mistake of hand washing clothes using the notoriously strong soap "Ariel". After 4 days of hand
washing the kids sandy clothes, her hands blistered badly so we applied savila (aloe) and wrapped em up.
Not one visit to the emergency ward.....yet.Paulina - 5-12-2009 at 01:45 PM
Doing laundry while on vacation!!???
Hope her hands get better soon. Holding cold Tecate cans probably really help to relieve the suffering....
