Lilliana at Bancomer, Loreto is leaving today. What now?

Marla Daily - 5-15-2009 at 02:50 PM

For all of you who have enjoyed the friendly customer service from Lilliana at Bancomer in Loreto, please know that today is her last day at the bank. Her position has not been filled—this on the very day it is time to apply for an extension on our 30-year fideicomiso (as we are within the "90 day window of renewal"). We have been advised that all fideicomiso business transactions must go through Bancomer, Cabo San Lucas, now!

On August 11, 2008 Raul Leon, Senior Manager of Bancomer Palmilla branch posted a long list of contact information for Bancomer, and his willingness to help customers. Thus far, none of the many phone numbers he listed in his post are answering; the email address for Ethel Castro bounced back twice with "delivery failure." Stay tuned.

Marla,
Lilliana was great to work with the limited time she was here..
Is she remaining in Loreto to work with her sister?
This year we are in the process of redoing our fidio, and Bancomer has released our last two years on our 30 year trust, so we could begin a new trust (50 years) with Bananorte in La Paz..

LaTijereta Very good move on your part. I've been trying to get a land extention for over 3 years now and can not get any response from Bancomer:fire:

Obviously, Mexico is more like the United States than people realize. Cut expenses, screw loyal employees. It's all about the bottom line.

That being said, I do really hope you can get your business completed timely. Palmilla branch? That's not even in town.

Lilliana is getting married next Saturday in Loreto to Guillermo Davis. She will be staying in town, but not working.

I'd like to know of the process you used, La Tijereta, to do what you are doing—getting out of Bancomer and moving to Bananorte. Sounds GREAT to us! Please U2U details.

Raul in Cabo left months ago - his position has not been filled, nor has Narda`s in La Paz. It is my understanding that all Bancomer Baja Sur fideicomiso matters are being "handled" out of Mexico City (muy bueno suerte . . .)

I am beginning to wonder about Bancomer - they have been very proactive in terms of putting in place effective gringo interfaces for general matters, but completely out to lunch in terms of trust issues.

So, your fideicomiso is expiring.............why cant you just terminate it and start another with another bank? Even if it is more dinero, getting away from Bancomer seems worth it. Many bad stories over on this side of the pond, too.

#12, Sr. Izquierdo was our Notary for our fedio. He's terrific and speaks very good english. Sr. Jorge Pickett is the fedio administrator at Banorte in La Paz. He also speaks excellent english and is extremely helpful. We can call him at anytime and we handle most business with him, including our annual fee, via e-mail and bank transfer from the US. I highly recommend both of these guys. :tumble:
