Wow... good news, if true! Perhaps Canyonman Rob has found a caretaker to watch the place with Arturo sick and has come to a payment arangement with

Yesterday, I emailed Canyonman Rob some questions regarding the campo and rumors being reported... if and when he replies, I will pass along the news.
Canyonman Rob is Arturo's son-in-law, and has been developing Arturo's camp with help from others into the camp we and others have enjoyed for so many
years. Rob and Isabel (Arturo's daughter) attended my Viva Baja #2 event in early 2001. Rob shared a video presentation of the canyon and invited us

The brothers have no plans to repair the bad road.
also they plan to enforce the rules regarding no music and no litter.

This morning, a sort reply from Canyonman Rob to my questions about the water and prices for Guadalupe Canyon:
Arturo's working on his papers to get more water.

I"ld like to get more people to visit our coastal property near St Tomas.
The 2 Seasons Baja site covers their Pacific Coast camping area (near Punta San Jose, west of Santo Tomas) and their desert camp area outside of
Guadalupe Canyon.

A third email arrived from Canyonman Rob this past weekend that stated campsites El Dorado and El Castillo had water now, and he hopes that the
remaining campsites are back online by the fall.
No other details provided... I would guess that a partial arrangement was made to get water running to those two upper campsites, but the water pipe

The picture on the home page is of the Mirador camp's hot tub. Only thing is, that pool faces down canyon towards Laguna Salada, NOT up canyon
towards the mountains.
When you go to the Mirador page you can see the palapa. The kids in the palapa are looking down at the pool...gee, no mountain in the distance.
