A relative was kind enough to give us his 28' trailer. It's located in LaPlayita near the new marina in San Jose Del Cabo. We have property in Buena
Vista and are considering taking him up on the offer. The trailer has been sitting on the property for about 12 years so it's going to need some work
to make it road ready, but at least we don't have too far to go. We are looking for some one who may be interested in moving it for us and getting it
set back up in B.V.
Also, are there permits needed etc. for trailers???, we plan to someday build a house on the property but this might be a nice compromise in the mean

Sounds like a travel trailer. If it's wider than 8 1/2 feet, you may require a permit.
Another thing....Drivers License insurance won't cover a trailer on the road. It will require it's own policy.

If you can't find anyone, try a local tow service in SJC.
They can change the tires, grease the bearings and then tow it for you.
They will not be concerned with trailer brakes or current registration.
Make sure to negotiate the rate in advance !!

You need to get a local to haul it, they know what's going on, they do this kind of thing all the time. like Dennis said tires, axles, ins etc.etc.

I'm definately not interested in moving it myself due to exactly what was mentioned, license, insurance, etc. A towing company maybe a good option. Is
there anyone thats done this before or knows of anyone that has? It would be nice to find a company/person that specializes in moving "travel"
trailers if at all possible.
As for permits, what I meant was are they required if you are putting a trailer on your property? I would assume all you would need is to have your
registration up to date.
