It has just announced service from LAX to their hub in Toluca starting July 1. You can connect to any of their destinations from Toluca. That being
said, it will obviously make for a much longer trip when headed to La Paz or Cabo. they are running $99 each way promotional fares.

I've flown Volaris several times in the last few months, La Paz/Tijuana and return. While in the Tijuana airport last time I happened to notice that
Volaris has reserved and put their sign on about 15 ticket counters, while only three or four are in use at this time.
The message I get from this is that Volaris is preparing for bigger and better things, operationally. I fully expect Volaris to continue to grow and
in the not too distant future offer what has been lacking for so long -- an abundance of direct flights from the U.S. into La Paz. That is when
tourism and real estate will really take off into the economic stratosphere here in La Paz, assuming the world's economy doesn't crash and burn in the
meantime.
I have read that Volaris has already established a relationship with Continental's flights to and from Florida. Now it's expanded to L.A. from
Toluca. One thing's for sure: Carlos Slim didn't get to be Latin America's richest man by being dumb.

Actually, Volaris' first US port of entry was Ft. Lauderdale. The code share arrangement is with Southwest, not Continental. The Ft. Lauderdale
flights were also to Toluca. And, again, Toluca is their home base and hub. I wouldn't be shocked, if at some point in the not too distant future,
Slim would look to merge his airline into Southwest, obviously retaining a controling interest in what would be a Mexican subsidiary.
On the other hand, Slim hasn't hit the strike zone every time. Think Comp USA.
