Anyone have any info on an Insurance company that would cover a boat that stays in Baja fulltime? Thanks in advance!

I had mine down for a year. Go through Discover Baja, they will get you set up.

Our neighbors found out last month thier boat left in Baja ---Insurance was not good with it just sitting onland unless it was hooked up to a vehicle so it now sits with a truck hooked up to trailer. Not sure of Ins Co. But be sure to ck it out-- Just an FYI for you.

All Mexican insurance is for when the boat is being towed and must be hooked up to the tow vehicle. The only company that I have found that covers the boat while in Mexico is Progressive. They usually want you to occasionally tow it out but if you leave it for extended periods of time your coverage is good.
The only other option is the Lloyd's of London route with an American underwriter and broker but this is usually reserved for the large yachts and is pretty pricey.

From my old crusing days, we always said that the best insurance was a bigger anchor.

Our boat is Mexican and is here year around. Our policy was purchased from a Loreto agent:

Our sailboat (in the water, but it doesn't matter) has been insured for the past 10 years by Zurich. There are other companies, both Mexican and US based, check Google. Zurich covered damage to our boat after Hurricane Marty and was great! Marinas require liability insurance for boats in their marinas and you might check with a local marina for suggestions.
