Beautiful Natalie Ann!

And yes, those are some of the best tasting Shrimp Tacos I've ever had.
I love yours, too JR. The other photos say, "Ahh, Tranquilo." But yours is most inviting and says, "Disfrute!"
This is also my favorite part

Not a sunset, but just as peacefull to me. Great shots you all have provided here.

Bob H, The wood in your campfire soaked up the energy of 10,000 sunsets and is just releasing that energy in your camp, that's why it's so beautiful.
Thanks,Craig
Great photos guys....

Baja Photos

Here's an idea. I think everyone has great photos and it's some of our favorite part of the boards.
Who would be interested in a photo contest, on here, set up as a poll, and the best photos would be turned into a Nomads Calender.
Not only would we be enjoying all the photos, but somebody could win the grand prize of being "Grand Poobah of the Baja Photos". Pretty spectaculer
eh ?
I was thinking maybe categories like say, sunrise, sunset photos for instance. And maybe some people shots, fishing shots, surfing and all the stuff
we take pictures of down here.
Just a thought. Either way, thanks for sharing those great pictures everyone. Now that we are getting some idea of how to shrink them, hopefully we
will all continue sharing.Markitos - 6-16-2004 at 05:25 PM
Great Idea Jr.
First you'll have to show me how to resize my pics. Other wise the grand nomad will have my hide!!
BTW youve got some unreal shots!!
Markitos,

Thanks on the pics.. But, you probably don't want to learn from me. After all my whining, questioning, advice, different techniques shared by many,
and not a heck of a lot of success, I decided to ask my Fuji program what was up. This was because of a funny remark BajaLou posted.
I found out immediately that if I go to Fuji FinePix viewer, I can reduce the size with the push of a button. And, I have a choice of sizes to put
them at. Without losing too much clarity as with some of the more complicated techniques.
And, the techniques previously mentioned by those that know, are actually not that complicated if you practise, for me the software that came with
the camera saved the day.
I also use the JPEG resizer for batch resizing and it seems to be working because I haven't received any threats of axing my fingers from Doug yet.
Now, the question for me is, why do Herbs pictures load faster than everyone elses on my computer ?? Dial up connection.
Sun gone, this is a 'Moon Rise' over Concepcion Bay

Most of the time, I actually upload my photots to my personal website and then insert a hyperlink to them in the post. They display directly in your
browser from a site that is not very busy as opposed to having to be retrieved from the message board software here.
It also helps to reduce Doug's overhead. Markitos - 6-17-2004 at 06:01 AM
Great pic MexRay!! Gotta love all the stars down there.
Hola Herb...
David K - 6-17-2004 at 07:12 AM
Can you explain how to do that?
Thanks!
PS Great to meet you at the book signing party!
