Dish Network Reception in Rosarito Area

BCSTech - 6-25-2009 at 02:37 PM

Can anyone tell me how the reception is for Dish Network in the Rosarito area?

Can you use a standard Dish Network 500 to 1000.2 dish like those sold in the US or do you need something bigger?

Can you pick up the 110°, 119° and the 129° birds using one standard Dish Network dish, or do you need two or three dishes like we do here in BCS?

Since San Felipe, at a lower Latitude than Rosarito, easily gets mid- 80s signal strength (old scale) on the DISH Conus feeds with the standard-sized reflectors, it would be unlikely Rosarito would not.

Hi Bill, thanks for that.

Does the geometry to pick up the three sats hold up on standard dishes in San Filipe?

We have a home below San Felipe but left there to come back to San Diego on Sunday.

When did this change in service occur as we experianced no differance as of Sunday on our Dish Network (which is by the way a legal service)

I live 25 miles south of Rosarito
