...Powerstride Battery in So-Cal, etc...

US Battery has been making lead-acid batteries for over 50 years, and they are BIG in the Golf Cart types...they use a special alloy in their Deep Cycle 6 volt's plates, and they are as rugged a battery as you'll find...US Battery invented that 'pantograph' type vent cap that allows you to open all three cells at the same time, when it's time to check the acid level...

Powerstride has lots of good battery info on their site, as well...

In the San Diego area...Brodings Battery Warehouse sells US Battery.

Also the North San Diego County Costco's sell 6V batteries. Alot of golf cart usage in No. County SD.

I personally think that there is not that much difference in the quality of all the deep cycle batteries, but think its more important to get a battery desulfater your batteries will last 2-3 times longer. Just Google Battery Sulfater more info than you ever wanted to know.

There's a guy named "Jeremy" in San Felipe that designed his own batteries and has them manufactured in the US. Sells them for $90.00 each, supposedly equal to or better than Trojan 105s. So I heard.
