Thanks to HotSchott who sent this my way... a very impressive photo journal from a Jan. 2004 trip starting south of La Paz at Rancho Leonaro and going
north, then back south. Great photos...

Excellent trip report!! Nice photos too!
Reminded me of the time Huddo found out his wife was pregnant.....figuring his Baja days would be over for a few years we did a mad dash of about
2,000 miles covering some of the same roads.....but we did it in 6 days!!!!
HotSchott - 6-17-2004 at 09:51 PM
I told you it was a cool trip Dave.

Yah Steve, is this report why you (all of a suddon) what to go to Mag bay and the Vizcaino Peninsula? It sure makes anyone with 4WD and a love of
outdoors want to.
If I sell some jobs tomorrow (3 estimates), I think L.A. Bay will be no problema for the Fourth. Can you and Val go too? You have NEVER had sushi like
what 4baja and Beth can prepare from Yellowtail that is only 30 minutes out of the water! If I get lucky(with $$$), we could take a couple days and
run out to Malarrimo (the back way) too. Go Baja Go!

Very good - really good. I would like to see his complete camp setup setup that he carts around in that little CJ5. That looks like the fun way to
travel the backroads of Baja.

Check out the rest of his trips over the last several years at the same link.

Some of this stuff is not appropriate for kids and Mother Theresa types. If you are bothered by debauchery just don't bother looking and either way
don't wine about it to me.

Just so noone is confused...The chronicals and pictures were all taken by a gent by the name of Roy Baldwin aka Sr. Divirtido (Mr. Fun). He is the
business manager at Rancho Leonero in East Cape.
I have never had the pleasure of meeting him personally, but several years ago I surfed into one of his stories and have been reading about his trips
ever since. We traded emails over the last couple of years and he has given some good advice on camping spots south of San Felipe.
This is the contact info he has posted at the Rancho Leonero websight:
