Frank,
Neat concept, but rather pricey.

Starting at $49.000.00 without engine, plus about a $3000.00 delivery charge ?
Can buy some gorgeous diesel boats for that kind of money.

They could have used them at Omaha Beach.

Just what I was thinking Igor, reminds me of my 60' LCM,except I could haul a med. tank all over the place an beach land it also, its an old idea.

We trolled around Guam for Mahi-mahi in one. Not enough rod holders and a little too loud:spingrin:

 Ya was a little loud I used to take out guys fishing at Subic bay, which was ok as long as we caught a few fish,BUT if the fishing was slow everyone got drunk as hell and ended fallin over the side,I damned near lost one which would have been my ass.

Any excuse to drink a bunch of San Miguel and get wasted.

With the sexual disneyland of olongapoo there for the taking why would any red blooded male want to fish in pubic bay

baitcast - 7-1-2009 at 03:43 PM

Not me thats for sure, spent 6 long months at the boat pool,I hated the place, hot high humidity, fungus in my ears, woke up one morning and my feet were twice thier size:O,mosquitos the size of humming birds, but I did like the beer.

Falling over the side of one of those dudes would require a bit of climbing.:O

baitcast - 7-1-2009 at 04:04 PM

We fished with the ramp down, you could step off:lol:

If anyone is interested there is a 30 something ft houseboat for trade or sale in Puerto Escondido. Its a fixer upper with a little work could turn into a nice live aboard. I think this boat is listed on the Hidden Port Yacht Club website.
