How do yo get a picture or icon to automatically show up under the user name and status when you post?David K - 6-18-2004 at 06:18 PM
Here's my 'simple, low tech answer'....
1) Photo has to be on a web site, any web site (not just in your file)
2) Right click on the photo (brings up the photo properties info.) and copy the photo URL with your mouse.
3) Open a new topic or reply here on Nomad. Type in any text or title.
4) Click on the little icon above that looks like a yellow box or envelope (it's the 7th icon from the left just above this text box I am typing
into).
5) Paste the photo URL into the box that popped up when you clicked on the icon. Click open or enter, whatever it says... Then post your message.
That's it!!!

Actually, what David said, only the URL goes in the "Avatar" entry in your profile.
