I sent you a u2u.. We are most interested and want to join you on this trip...

The boat looks a little small for 8 fisherman. Plus the captain and a deckhand.
It's only 31 feet.
Go with the 5 that you have and each pay $200. I think 4 would even be better.

I hope it works out great! (Especially since you can blame me for mentioning these guys).

Fishbuck: Try to be positive...unless you have a live wire in hand...

From experience it looks small for 8 pax and 2 crew.
I'd be willing to go 4 pax 2 crew.

Charros brother in law is the captain. I have heard great things about that guy. I'd rather be cramped fishing than not fishing at all. Thanks for all the ideas and interest! Booked this up in 24 hours.

Good for you bro!
Based on the San Diego reports the bite starts right at greylight. About 5:00-5:30.
The boats are fishing about 80-90 miles south of Point Loma. Maybe another 10-15 miles south of Ensenada. Probably 25 off the beach.
Try trolling cedar plugs. And maybe tuna feathers.
I'm guessing the bluefin are coming in on bait.
You won't be able to troll 8 rods. Probably 4 max. If you're not on the trolling rotation, be ready with your 30lb rig and throw live bait or a fishtrap swim bait as soon as the trolling rods hook-up.
I mean be standing at the rail ready to drop it as soon as the troller hits.
Buen Suerte!
