We use a SoleusAir on our boat. Does a good job and is very quiet. Also know several friends that have also had good luck with them.

Sears has many makes and models and we've bought around a dozen or so from them over the years for our business...if they break, just take em back and
they fix em..hard to beat

Don't air conditioners dehumidify? Summer in San Felipe, seems you could kill two birds with one stone.
