It's my understanding, in CSL, that age is not a conditional requirement for license .. we put a license aboard for every passenger.
I often say that when the wind changes direction, the answer to the question may change as well ... tho we are all watching pennies and pesos,
respectfully suggest better safe than sorry when it comes to this issue and have the license ... If stopped and checked, the 'enforcer' has the
'power' if he/she so decides, to confiscate tackle, gear, the boat, boat license, any fish caught <egads!!> .. then, the offending party has to
go thru hoops, literal and financial, to get it all straightened out ..
The annual license is the economical way to go .. Again, I respectfully add this reminder: Different areas 'may' require a specific 'stamp' for their
area, for example Loreto, La Paz, CSL etc., may require a local stamp for use in their area ... best to make the trek to the local PESCA office to
check that a license will be acceptable. ..
