Mattress recomendation

elskel - 8-1-2009 at 05:08 PM

To all: Awhile back I was looking for mattresses for my casa. I was sent a referral and contacted the gentleman. I purchased (1) Queen- (true US Queen) Spring Air pillowtop mattress and box spring with legs and (4) Twin (true US twin) - Spring Air pillowtop mattresses for two bunk beds. These are great mattresses. I believe this gentleman supplies alot of the fancy hotels in CSL, and other parts of Mex., also hotels in Vegas. The cost for the 5 mattresses was $1600 USD. He also delivered all five mattresses to me in Pescadero for $50. The mans name is Jose Luis Via, his company is Baja Trade, e-mail bajatrade@prodigy.net.mx. I can not find his ph. #. I anyone is looking for a mattress, drop him a line.

We had a hard time finding mattresses that we liked in La Paz. Everything we found had the firmness of concrete or you could choose the extra-firm if you liked it a bit harder.

As for tourists taking photos, last month on the drive north we went through Zion Natl Park in Utah. A bus load of French tourists lined up to take photos of the South Dakota plate on our car.

Oops. Sorry. I thought this thread was about recommendations on where to keep your money.

He's a long time poster...retired & sold all his mattress stores, but he could give you the low-down (lay-down?) of mattresses, fer sure...
