Senator Coppola attacked in Los Cabos !

camador - 8-6-2009 at 05:54 PM

This afternoon heard on local radio that Baja California Sur senator Luis Coppola was attacked, after being told that one of the Coppola family properties in Los Cabos had been invaded he moved to his ranch with his team up, once there, when they would try to talk to people, were attacked with 9mm pistols. His team repelled the attack, capturing 6 of the attackers, the senator emerged unscathed from the attack, which says that this is political pressure from the governor of the state.

There is no more info by the moment, I'm trying to contact Jose Luis at www.radarpolitico.com to have more information about this event.

That was they said in the radio, but really he was attacked, attackers missed their shots as well as the security team, so nobody was hurt (strange, very strange)

I mean, really he was attacked ?

For those of us out of the loop, what is all this about?

JESSE - 8-7-2009 at 02:27 PM

This one is way way out of our league.

Is this merely a disgruntled employee thing?

Remember, Mexican gov'mt is ROTTEN TO THE CORE

Senator Coppola fires several accusations directly at the Governor.

JESSE - 8-8-2009 at 12:53 PM

Warns the Governor he is going to go all the way with the investigation.

Claims the attack was planned by the state goverment.

Says the governor got into the position he has, by stealing land from others.

Links the attorney general to organized crime.

The attacker claims he was hired and given gun by state police.
