Looks like the shape of a Grouper or Bass, and is bright yellow.

It is a fish named: Invisiblis-Transparentus.... squint and stare at the center of the screen real hard and you might see it. Have wine.... have
patience.... have a beer or two.. keep trying....Sidamone - 8-8-2009 at 11:02 AM
Cardon Man, thanks. That's what it is. I found photos of it and it's what my photo depicts. Thanks for the quick reply.

Was a common catch a few years ago. Now it's so rare that someone needs help ID'ing it. bajabound2005 - 8-8-2009 at 01:08 PM

REINA
At least some locals call them that.Howard - 8-9-2009 at 12:18 PM
I think all of you are wrong. I believe the proper Latin term for the fish is Ghostus disappearus AKA the rare and illusive non-appearus fish.bacquito - 8-9-2009 at 03:53 PM

I believe the fish he's referring to is the "golden grouper"
Never have it heard called Charlie before, but then, what do I know.
Sidamone..did it look like this one?

The golden one, that is..the other one is a gordo pompano.
These fish are commonly called...golden grouper, golden cabrilla, reina. Superstition says catching one brings the angler good luck...but only if you
release it.
