Truth or Urban Legend?

Naturally, living in Mexico, I am occasionally questioned by old friends about how dangerous it is living in Mexico. As with most of you, I just reply that it depends on where in Mexico you are........just like in the States.

Anyway, I have now heard this gruesome story from three different friends and dont recall ever seeing it in print or on TV. It involves 3 gals who went to party in TJ and one of them goes to the bathroom and never returns. Later she is spotted in a strange car headed towards the border. The car is stopped and she is supposedly discovered eviscerated and stuffed full of drugs.

This sounds a little incredible to me. Did this make the news or is it just a story made up by the right-wing press as part of a vast conspiracy to keep third world countries under our thumbs?

Actually, I think one of the versions I was told involved Puerto Penasco, not TJ and the girl was an ASU co-ed.

Which version have YOU heard?

Everybody knows that story, but it's usually a baby aboard an airplane.

The only possibly true one I ever heard involved fish...

Well, don't know about Mexico, but that's one of the ways heroin was transported back to the States from Nam....body bags.

Seems like some good ol' U.S. boys didn't mind using some "covert ops" to feed the habit.....of making money:barf:

Snopes knows nothing that I could find. Sounds like nonsense.
Now....If you want to mention Piņatas, ..............
