I have more old maps that show the Gonzaga Bay area (Pta. San Fermin to Pta. Remedios) than most other parts of Baja!

If you notice on the 1757 Jesuit map, the 'Aguaje Santa Isabel'... This is what caused some to search for the lost Mission of Santa Isabel near
Puertecitos!

The 1941 map is full of notes showing the location of gold around Mision Santa Maria... and an 'unexplored' area!
