Can one of you fine Ensenada Nomads tell me how the weather is there today?
I read some reports on Bloodydecks (fishing site) that guys had to turn around and come home down in the San Diego area.
Seems it was very windy and a moderate swell. 4-5 feet.

probably as close to ensenada as you can get with real time ocean conditions without actually being at the beach.....
I just got off the phone with Jay the master of the boat Selena.
His captain went out this morning and they had to turn back it was so windy and rough. They tried to wait it out in the lee of Punta Banda. They are
still fishing but my guess is they didn't go offshore for tuna. I thinking bottom fish.
So it doesn't look good for tomorrow.
Even if the weather improves today's wind will roll the water over and it will get cold and dirty.
Tuna fish hate that. They get grumpy and won't eat.
This is very strange weather for August.
We should get some radio reports from the fleet soon.

The trip is cancelled. Big swells offshore and high winds.

I was wondering that since I'm about seven miles from you, how you could say it was cool in Costa Mesa, when it was feeling downright tropical two
miles from Disneyland.
