Has anyone been down to Bay of L.A. in November? Should I book a hotel room for the week now incase the place is full?

Yes, but November can be either ideal, or blustery and cool. I would recommend "reservations" but have no contacts for you-------somebody here on NOMADS will, tho, and hopefully will post them.

Most of my visits have been in Oct. when it usually is perfect, IMO.

For accomodations and contact information, check out Mia's Bahia de Los Angeles website.

I've been in Bahia in Nov. many times. Usually it's not that crouded, but to be sure to have a place it wouldn't hurt to make a reservation ahead of time.

I prefer November over October......my experience has been less wind but that is just my luck.....opinions will vary, that's for sure.

Soulpatch,

You are spot on as far as the weather goes. The problem with both winter and spring is that one has to pack for all types of weather. You never know.

Summer seems to be the only predictable season in Bahia.
