Does anyone know what the currentLoreto taxi costs are? I haven't used one since a town trip was 30 pesos...I know it's more now, but the sign seems
to be gone from the Madero corner.

$ 5.00 around town sounds pricey. Loreto is not very big.
I do know that taxi prices to the outlying areas, like airport, Nopolo/Loreto Bay and Escondido, are outrageously expensive. Cabo has nothing on
us.

Was quoting the latest edition of Frommers. Said $5 around town and $10 to Nopolo. I agree that the $5 in town seems high.

A cab to to Nopolo from town is in excess of twenty dollars. Sixteen just to get to the airport and thats 5 miles at most.
