I've been trying for 4 years to get anyone in the fideocamiso (sp) department with Bancomer to address adding 25meters to my current contract with
them.
I use a lady that has been dealing with our issues in Baja for years and I think she has lost hope of finding someone at Bancomer to do the work.
We've even tried to have another bank buy the contract. NOTHING! So if any of you have contact info at Bancomer either TJ or La Paz PLEASE help me.

Russ, I wish I could help you but I cant.
But you are not alone in your frustration with that abomination of a bank. Here are a few more stories. Maybe by publicizing this, we can warn people
about dealing with them.

Thanks Hook. I used Interacciones for my other lot and it went smooooth. Their annual billing system is also easy and they send a complete receipt
after you mail in the payment form & money. However they don't seem able or willing to negotiate a buyout of my contract with Bancomer. We have
lots of bad stories about Bancomer here as well.

We used Interacciones, too, and are completely happy with them. They probably arent willing to negotiate with Bancomer for all the reasons that these
stories illustrate.

Blanca does not represent the (non-existent) Bancomer fieicomiso unit in Baja Sur, but she speaks excellent English and will give you no-nonsense
advice.

Thanks Rob. I have talked with her and also E-mailed and so has the lady that is helping us but she doesn't seem to be able to get any response from
that department either. She has helped with some problems I had with the local branches of Bancomer her though. It's been awhile so I try her
again.

Russ- I don't know where Shell Beach is (I KNOW it's not the one 500m from here), but perhaps you might consider moving up the management tree at
Bancomer.
If you visit La Paz, you could go and see the Regional Manager personally - it really makes a difference. Let me know and I will find out how to nail
an appointment, I am going into La Paz tomorrow.

rob, I'm at Punta Chivato near Mulege. What would be most helpful is if you are in the Bancomer branch that handles fideocamisos if you could get the
name and number of the person in charge of that operation. There have been many over the last years and very little organization of the contracts. We
have talked to several to no avail. But maybe the newest department head can help. Thank you for myself and the many others that maybe helped.

Enclosed some recent pictures.. hopefully we will come to Chivato this weekend... yes it is the same lady and she is nice but can't help much, the
one in Cabo told me that they will be ready to restart the process next week, you might have to sign a request letter to Bancomer, if so she will send
me the draft.. it will be just to request in writing the addition to the fido.. we'll see, she said they are now with a new team and ready to move
fast ??? I don't bet on it, but we will keep trying.."
I get from that the fido branch is now in Cabo.

Not sure if this information is true and correct, as the author states he has done his best on translation.

wessongroup , Good info. I've been inmigrado now for 3 yrs or so. And am seriously considering the move to citizenship. There is a lot more to
consider than just getting a clean title though. So I'm weighing the pros & cons. So far the pros out weigh the cons. I think there was a thread
here not to long ago that mentioned that you can "fast track" your citizenship again through a Lawyer/broker in Mexico. Money talks

Russ, I spoke to Bancomer today and they told me there is STILL no direct support for fideicomiso holders in Baja Sur.
I have a meeting with a senior Bancomer manager from out of town next Tuesday, and will ask him directly about this situation (have heard from many
about the problems - and it's not making Bancomer any friends).
re Citizenship "fast track": it's not so much money talking, it's that you are in the big Kahuna (Mex City) where everything happens, as opposed to
dealing with near-total incompetency in the provinces, particularly La Paz. U2U me if you need the contact info (although many on this board have used
Gilberto).
