I know there are a lot of us who are not permanent Baja residents who may have vacation homes available on a temporary basis for those who are
displaced.
I'm thinking out loud here.
We've discussed setting up a central site for donations, but could we also do the same thing for temporary housing?
I'm willing to help coordinate.
Just to clarify, I have a casita in La Paz that is currently vacant.
Two years ago, I was in La Paz during the Witch Creek fires in San Diego. My brother and his next-door neighbors were forced to evacuate at 5am.
They came to my house in San Diego while I was in Baja. My San Diego house became their base of operations for a week while they sorted through
getting their affairs in order.
If I can do the same thing to my fellow Nomads I'm more than willing to help.

we have emergency housing available here in Asuncion...and as mentioned if pilots come down to drop off supplies...it may be better to stay here so as
not to be a drag on the affected communities supplies.
