Loreto is open for business. We were very, very lucky!!!!
Mex Gov was very prepared and jumped into action quickly and in some cases ahead of the storm.
All services are restored - power, water, fuel, cell & land line phones, internet, most shops are open, grocery stores are open but are skimpy on
fresh produce but do have milk and all other supplies.
Most all hotels and restaurants are open.

No doubt that is the reason for the limited produce. Constitucion got hit very hard. Lots of power transmission towers down. It will take a while
to get the produce trucks running again.
A lot of produce is imported, Washington apples, Idaho potatoes, etc. It will be interesting to see how much fresh produce there will be at the
weekly "farmers market/swap meet" in the weeks to come.
Hadn't heard much about Loreto in all the hurricane postings other than power, water, fuel kind of stuff very early on. Mex Gov has power generators
with fuel trucks standing by to keep them running. They were well prepared. The power went out 5am Wed and was restored (via generators) by
Saturday.
Mulege, Santa Rosalia, San Ignacio, Constitucion, Lopez Mateo got hit much, much harder and the need for help and attention in those areas is much
greater.

Heard from friends in Tripui that Juncalito fared pretty well - all things considered. Harry & Bev are in the States - don't know about their

The Sunday Market arroyo south of town during Jimena. Unlike after Hurricane John a couple of years ago, the arroyo was dry the next day.

Three mature palms along the malecon went down in the storm. These like several others lost around town were heavy laden with dates.

Thanks for the pictures Bill!!! Tripui lost several mature date palms also. No structual damage to speak of....lost mostly car & boat covers.

Cool to see you on the forum "fuelpushers"!Also great to hear of minimal damage at Tripui and Juncalito,also Loreto.In the days of past, before Tripui
was burnt down, I would guess the results may have been different.Glad your lovely home is ok!
