Has anyone heard or seen the conditions of the road through the mountains west of Mulege through San Raymundo wash towards Ballena and San Juanico???
Juan certainly had its effects, so I am wondering how the recent rains affected the highlands...the ranchos have apparently been getting food and
supply drops according to other posts...

A few months after Juan at east end of San Raymundo wash....one of the river "boulder crossings":

I just got a report from last Thursday, that it was intense to pass the dirt roads south of SJ as there are huge ruts and drop offs, large shelves,
even though water has subsided it can be too much to overcome the shelves caused by rushing water over rocks.
And another report from Purisima San Gregorio that it is quite different, the water washed many things away entirely.
Though these reports are to the north quite a bit from San Raymundo, as I recall Jimena was heading right into SJ but then backed out and headed a bit
south before going east which caused much damage to Comondu and La Purisima and therefore directly over the region you ask about.
I can only imagine that water gathered through canyons and river beds to cause many changes and cave ins on the road making it more narrow and
certainly with holes and deep ruts on the south road you ask about, that is until a large bulldozer can make a new path?
I do not know if that happened in the last 4 days?
