La Tasajera Road
Altar de la Mirador (great views of Botella Azul)
El Rancho Viejo (at the end of Venado Blanco Road)
Fresh water at Los Manzanos (located down the hill below the first entrance of the park)

I just got back a couple of weeks ago. Easy drive up the paved road, nice cool weather up at the campground (2720 meters), nobody there on weekdays,
no charge to camp if you have your Mexican national park pass.
Bring water for bathing, etc.
Some people drink the stuff.
