Three TJ cops killed in Playas last night

OK, I know this isn't really news anymore. I only posted it because the article says it happened right in front of Residencial La Perla, and I think k-rico lives there.

The theory is that they were straight cops killed by the AFO organization because the Feds arrested 3 Playas cops last week that were on the AFO payroll.

Retribution.

The killers ambushed the cops with automatic weapons when they went to buy coffee at the OXXO. Hundreds of rounds were fired. One guy has been arrested.

Que lastima.

That is really sad and scary when the automatic weapons start going off

Playas has been heating up lately. Drug busts, 5 guys burned up in a car.

Walking back from a town hall meeting at the cultural center this morning I noticed the police station is sandbagged and I saw a 4-door sedan squad car with two cops in the front, two in the back and what looked like a gatling gun pointed out the rear side window.

Time to lie low and check 6.

I guess it's just your turn in Playas K-Rico. That meat truck kid was found dead there too and it was never explained what happend to him or the frozen meat. We looked hard at La Perla units a few years back. Nice area.

We went through this BS in Rosarito recently too and until El Teo is out of the picture- it will continue.

I was surprised by the reaction of the locals I came in contact with today, many 50 year old or so ladies and gentlemen at the Vecinos de Playas de Tijuana meeting today. Sort of "business as usual". The agenda was made before the murders so there was no group discussion about them. They stuck to the agenda.

One person commented to me that the cops should have known better than to allow themselves to be ambushed. Suppose so.

Who was it that was just raving about Playas a couple of weeks ago? Just a matter of time before it hits all of "our" areas.

Police say they arrested at least five men in shootings that killed three Tijuana, Mexico, police officers and wounded another.

The shootings happened about 9:30 p.m. Friday in a residential area of Playas de Tijuana in front of the La Perla Residencial, a beachfront development with 24-hour security and controlled access, The San Diego Union Tribune reported.

Patrons at a nearby restaurant reported hearing loud, consecutive sprays of gunfire, and a spokeswoman for the Baja California Attorney General's Office said police found many AK-47 shell casings, indicating the officers were sprayed with gunfire.

The slain officers were identified as Napoleon Garcia Perez, Arturo Flores Espinoza and Samuel Sierra Marcos. Police did not identify the officer who was wounded, but said his injuries were not life-threatening.
