Raining in La Paz

JESSE - 9-29-2009 at 03:29 PM

Started about 1hr ago, thunder and everything. Not good for business, but we need the rain.

DENNIS - 9-29-2009 at 03:38 PM

Looks like you may get some more.
Don't forget to turn on the clouds...middle right.

Or put a roof over your restaurant.

twogringos - 9-29-2009 at 03:57 PM

0.63" at 4:55 (roughly 1 hour) Almost continuous thunder. BMG will be pulling weeds for a week.

Marie-Rose - 9-29-2009 at 04:00 PM

Linguine will. I'm sure I have a headache scheduled on weed pulling day.

We already heard that the jungle has taken over. Even though Linguine works cheap, we decided to hire someone to go in and clear the back-forty for us. Should be a cleared dust bowl by the time we get there.

Hopefully this wont develop into anything...

Dianamo - 9-29-2009 at 04:38 PM

If it gets a name it will be "Olaf".

Tried it but it didn't agree with me. Think I'll stick with Gin.

hmmmm...... come to think of it, we've had happy hours for all kinds of reasons but never have we had a "weed pulling happy hour", now wouldn't that be fun?!!!!

JESSE - 9-30-2009 at 12:03 AM

100% humidity right now. Can't get worse than this.

whoa....some clouds this morning....this little bugger sure worked it's way up fast since yesterday. I wonder if we'll get any rain for the pithayas?
Sure had a hard time sleeping last night imagining tsunamis and earthquakes.

Loret rain

tehag - 9-30-2009 at 08:21 AM

From about midnight on, lots of thunder, wind, rain, lovely. Can't really get any greener here, but it should last a bit longer now.

vandenberg - 9-30-2009 at 08:56 AM

Flooded streets and lots of standing water here in Nopolo.
Buckets show an 4 to 6 inch accumilation. Big cell of that off the tip storm made its way over Loreto last night.
This is the kind of water we need.
Damn the mosquitos.:no::no:

Your Apis is on the way!

Humidity is a relative thing!

comitan - 9-30-2009 at 10:15 AM

CortezBlue

Yes relatively uncomfortable.

BajaWarrior - 9-30-2009 at 04:18 PM

It's definatley moving quick, hopefully east then falls apart...

Bajahowodd - 9-30-2009 at 04:25 PM

Just for Alan- I was kidding. A roof over Jesse's restaurant would totally eliminate the ambience. However, a few more lights might be beneficial.:P

I do second the light motion.:P
Nice to be able to read the menu without a flash light and see what you're eating.

twogringos - 10-3-2009 at 06:12 PM

A total of 1.8" today 10/3 in two downpours and for Olaf, a total of 2.7", so far.

Alan - 10-4-2009 at 11:07 AM

Everything should be nice and green when I arrive in two weeks:lol:
