Dave and Juanita had just sold the restaurant and motel before M's party... but all went well.

actually tongue was firmly in cheek.....the crabs i got were claws of stone. i think they are a pain to eat in spite of the kilo you get dripping in butter and paprika for about $10 i think. too dang hard to crack those suckers and messy!
the bar is fun tho.

Love the place, and the crab has been good....
The best beach on the planet....
The guys even caught dorado last week....

Never have spent the night there but have hung out at the bar with friends a few times. Always seems like a nice, friendly crowd...

thanks so much for the replies--- i used to work in san quintin and spent many nites at the bar and when traveling in the motel-- that was when juanita and dave owned the whole thing-- i know its changed somewhat since then-- some good, some not so good.

I don't know whether it's the tradition, the anticipation, the hunger, or what, but I've always enjoyed them. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm there in Baja. And I agree the bar is a kick.

hey Cap - ??
