Very European looking... Because we know northern Mexico, we might assume all Spanish speaking countries are like that... Thanks for a look at South America Ken... it is very educational to see that nice, modern and clean is not limited to just a few countries.

Extremely European-looking. It was if the architects of this country traveled to France, Germany, and Holland to study the layout and plans of the Western Europe. The people, too looked as if they had immigrated from Europe as so many Colombians from this city looked as if they had come from the Old World.

Here's an example of an apartment building near the U.S. Embassy that reminded me of my travels to Holland as a teenager.

Erick Morillo is originally from Santa Marta del Rodadero and is a Superstar who lives now in Miami, Florida.


The Coffee is world-class, and the presentation at this small Cafe in Bogotá, was nothing short of impressive.

Leidys agreed on the Coffee...she was all smiles. :lol:

This monument was dedicated to the 61 men and women killed due to torture at the hands of domestic terrorists in the Bolivar Department of Colombia on the 16th of February, 2000.

Great fotos, Ken!
I'll help you celebrate the life of Colombians by a catering gig I have today at a Colombian family gathering in Pomona. I even ordered some green Colombian coffee beans (at a cost of $19.00/lb U.S.) and will roast and grind them on site at the party.

Sorry...I won't be able to make it to the off-road expo in Pomona tomorrow.
I still have some clean-up from yesterday's gig.

Que chevere, Pana. Leidys tiene una prima que movi a Caracas por su trabajo hace unos años, y quieria conocer ese ciudad. Cuando llegue a Bogotá, yo mire el file de pasajeros que volaron a Caracas, y yo imaginaba como seria ese lugar. Cuando nos puedan, yo puedo llevar Leidys a las montañas para conocerles. Siento algo gripado y no se si puedo irme al Expo, tampoco...:(
