I am wondering what the road to Conejo and Scorpion are like after Hurricane Jimena. Does anyone know if you can get to both of these places with a 2
wheel drive vehicle?

You can certainly get to Conejo easily using the Km55 turnoff to the beach past Rancho la Aguja. Nobody ever passes here who uses the Km 81 turnoff to
Conejo, so can't help there - usually its pretty rough even in good times.

We can't report on surf road conditions due to the moratorium on reporting surf road conditions for "respect" or something, but let's say it might be
good but I can't really say, exactly, so be careful on the road and everything and you know, be cool.vivaloha - 10-11-2009 at 06:47 PM
surf is there, find a way to get there, or don't
and
like gnu kid said, "..and you know, be cool."805gregg - 10-12-2009 at 07:12 AM
Both roads into San Juanico are bad. The south road is washed out and the on the north road you must go way inland.woody with a view - 10-12-2009 at 08:17 AM

At this point Patricia is more of a worry than Jimena.
Been raining hard for hours now here in TS and its looking black outside still.

just heard from a little bird that the cantina is vacant and camping is free. something about a masked bandit in the night telling the caretakers to
leave.... or else! apparently they split.
