Rae, just click the edit button and you can change or edit anything you put on Nomad. Just a note, I am not a moderator here... You would need to
contact Doug who owns this site for any 'special' changes.BajaRae - 10-12-2009 at 04:35 PM
Thanks guys, nothing really pressing...just dogs, beaches and flowers...thanks again just wish it wasn't so time consuming....RaeDavid K - 10-12-2009 at 04:45 PM
It isn't... once you do it... takes just a few minutes... It all starts with photos in you computer files... To post here or any forum, you need to
copy the photos onto a photo hosting site that gives each photo a URL (web address). Otherwise, you can post just one photo per Nomad post with the
'Browse' featrure... only if that photo is under 50 kbs.
Because resizing the photos takes alot of time, I suggest you just copy them to a photo host site with a reduced size pre-selected... Most of us here
use Photobucket.com, free and easy to use.
I have posted more than once how to do the photobucket thing... the reduced size to pick, the IMG link, etc.
>>>
C) PHOTOBUCKET.COM
Photos can be copied onto your (free) photobucket.com album from your PC files... just pre select the size reduction setting as 15" screen or
smaller... not 17" and not 1 mg. so the Nomad board doesn't get streched wide requiring awkward right scrolling to read messages.
To show any photos on Nomad, put your mouse on your photobucket photo, and a drop down menu will appear with these four choices and a url or 'code'
next to each... for that photo:
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code
Copy the last one (IMG Code), and paste that right on the Nomad page where you type a message... where ever you want the photo to appear in your
thread. <<<
Don't give up...

You do know how to use a mouse, right?
Seriously, the photo above has a URL on photobucket.com
To see the photo on Nomad goes after the URL (no spaces).
That last link in the pop up on photobucket when you put your mouse on the photo you want to show will have the tabs already with the URL. Just copy
and paste here on a Nomad page!BajaRae - 10-14-2009 at 07:06 AM
