At least for my area. Most the trout in the river minutes ( 2 - 15 depending) from my front door here in the Sun Valley area are the 12" - 14" range.
Yesterday I caught not my biggest (21", 13 yrs ago) but for sure my fattest. The 21" was in the winter and not so round and heavy. So I need help as I
forgot how to do this. I had a tape measure with me. It was 19 1/4" in length and had a 10" girth football sized rainbow. What is the formula for the
weight? It was caught on a four weight rod with a #14 green drake for all you fly fisherman out there when not in Baja.
