Conception Bay Photos - Nov 2009

After being gone for a few weeks..and sometimes months... it's nice to return to this place.

Here are two photos taken from the same spot on Santispac Beach at dawn on Nov, 3rd. There was a lot of light from a very bright moon.

With a little zoom...and no flash.

With no zoom..and with a flash. I liked the shoreline water effect.
.

.
Most of this lighting was provided by that full moon.

.
Cocos Beach has some tenants...always a good choice for campers.
.

.
The Bay Shrine...my old landmark. I stopped today to pick up some garbage carelessly left behind, and was joined by a nice Mexican couple who pulled in and added thier help. Nice way to meet new friends.

.
Some of the shorefront houses at Burros Beach are alarmingly close to water's edge after Jimena washed out tons of beach sand. The sea will return it..albeit slowly.

One of the most enjoyable experiences is to walk around at night with a lantern.

that one of burro beach is scary, the water is very close! We usually camp at the bigger Palaps yo the right, wonder if they are under water.

Those caught my eye, too, Igor..some of the best sights are at night along the shore..and those sudden splashes too.

More camping beaches of Coyote Bay. Here is a shot of the usually uncrowded Playa Escondido from ayer. A solo sailboat has it all to themselves.

We were cruising along in the Boston Whaler off shore of Burro last month and saw a pickup that was stuck in front of one of those palapas. The guys were frantically trying to get it unstuck before the tide came in. It was gone later, so they made it (or it was under water).
