Please! Any links or info you can give us on our first time crossing (but, we have our FM3's) would be greatly appreciated. I have to take my lap top
and buy some electronic equipment here to take down. Thank you for your help! Email me at info@coastproperties.com, please.

You are entitled to make one trip south with your household stuff, furniture, appliances, electronics, etc. duty free.
Depending on the sizes of whatever you are buying, take them out of the boxes and make them look used.
My girlfriend came south yesterday and they had guys out looking in the cars before getting to the lights so any cars with boxes were getting
nailed.
We also learned yesterday that if you get caught smuggling things into Mexico (of all things) they place a fine on attempting it. And they keep
whatever it was. And until you pay the fine, they impound your car. Which also can be kept as well.
Sounds like the same as trying to smuggle things north. Go figure.
Or, go through the declare line and pay the import duties. Last time I had to it was about 18% of the value. If you don't have the receipts, they
will make something up.

Thank you, JR. So, worst case scenario, 18% on everything?
