Drug traffickers apprehended in San Antonio Del Mar

Last night 11/16 at approximately 11pm in San Antonio Del Mar a house was stormed by the military and four drug traffickers were taken into custody.

One of the traffickers was able to temporarily elude the military soldiers and tried to enter my neighbor's house who was home at the time. Apparently the perp was looking for an open window to hide from the soldiers. The perp ran away when my neighbor came to the window with a baseball bat where the perp was trying to break in.

Too bad she got herself banned from Nomad. She used to be nothing but trouble but, now she offers something that no one else does. An English translation of the news in the Baja newspapers. I read her stuff when she puts it up.

All I can say is that the folks on this board can certainly weather the repeated rants of someone who is only here to diss Mexico. Mexico is what Mexico is. Most of the posters on this forum accept that.

Sorry guys but I'm not Marjorie. I have been reading posts on this site for several years so I am familiar with her reputation here. There are many ex-pats that live in SADM which is the reason I wanted to report the incident from last night.

Who are you talking about? If it's Maggie, you're wrong. She doesn't diss Mexico..she disses everything about the place that you and I diss. She hates the corruption and the crime, the everything that we talk about.
What she does give that we don't get here, is accounts in English of the newspaper reports of current issues as they are presented. It's the best, if not only source of info available for uni-lingual expats in this area.

Show all of us one time she dissed Mexico without cause. We all do that when Mexico deserves it.

Dennis, I agree with you. I get lots of good and up to date info and my translation skills are limited. And you speak more kindly of her than she does of you. And it is HER blog. Just don't ever comment or you take the risk of getting slammed, slandered or worse. The last big tirade was directed at an innocent nomad that she mistook as me. I felt really bad about that.

I have noticed that not many people comment these days. Obviously scared everybody off.

But back to the original post...too bad about the rift raft at SDAM. I have several friends who live there full time and are very happy, or oblivious.

At some point you have a choice where you live. They do have apartments for rent in Imperial Beach.
