We are going down this weekend and were going to camp there three days. We wanted to do some exploring around there and maybe drive down calamajue. My
question is have any of you left your tents and camp stuff there for the day while going out? I know they have an entrance and people who live there.
( I have been there many times) but am wondering how safe it is to leave you camp behind.
Thanks Mick

Mick... I wouldn't be surprised if you guys were the only ones camping there!
The owner is super nice (lived in the U.S. and speaks English) so let him know before you do a Calamajue or other runs.
Molino de Lacy, The Onyx glacier-like springs (u2u for directions) , Las Palmitas oasis, La Turquesa Canyon/ mine, El Camino Real, the missionaries'
warehouse on the bay are all great sites to visit near Gonzaga! See pages starting here: http://vivabaja.com/1102/page2.html
