The whole friggen state Woody! Picky--Picky

BooJumMan - 11-24-2009 at 07:35 AM

Chargers and comebacks...They go hand in hand. Usually such a strong 2nd half team, speaking within games and within the season. GO CHARGERS!!!!!

I've listened to games on AM radio deep in the heart of Baja from San Diego stations. As far as games on TV!? Id go through the web.

sanfelipebob - 11-24-2009 at 09:08 AM

roadhouse cabo san lucas no bad days

mulegemichael - 11-24-2009 at 09:40 AM

watch it at scotties el candil in mulege

DENNIS - 11-24-2009 at 10:11 AM

That Chargers / Denver game was spooky. You could hear a pin drop at mid-field for three hours.
Chargers have a big fan base in Ensenada. So do the Padres. US style football is getting real popular here as well with teams here and there around town. High school age kids and lots of razzle-dazzle plays. They arn't afraid to hit either.

As far as where do you watch it...doesn't everybody and every bar have DirecTV? If they don't, they're supposed to.

vandenberg - 11-24-2009 at 10:22 AM

Direct TV or Starchoice. Get the NFL package and you can watch any game you desire.
Before I moved down here, was a devoted 49er fan. Even rooted for the Raiders , till they abandoned Oakland.

Now I make do with the Chargers.:P:biggrin:

Bajahowodd - 11-24-2009 at 11:56 AM

Maybe I needed to have more faith, but after the first few weeks of the season, I thought the Chargers were DOA. Now it looks like they are going to be playing way past the end of the regular season.

Think about this. Which team is known as "America's Team"? Obviously Dallas. Anyone here wish to speculate on when it was that the Cowboys played in a championship game? That's all hooey. America's Team, indeed! Since LA hasn't had an NFL team in so long, the Chargers are the most popular team in all of Southern California. So Chargers rule from San Luis Obispo to Cabo San Lucas!!

Heather - 11-24-2009 at 12:05 PM

I bought Charger T-shirts for my teenage step-sons down in Pescadero a couple of years ago...they didn't know who the Chargers were!!

Guess I'll have to stick to the soccer gear!

Next Sunday, AT HOME, -vs- Kansas City.

That wasn't Colorado State, it was Northeastern Colorado State Teachers College, where the guy who didn't keep a firm grip on the ball when taking it across the goal line is a freshman with a GPA of 1.5.

GO CHARGERS!

i just saw the end of the 6.30am news and THE BOBBLE HEAD CHICK had the balls to say, "go buy a ticket so the rest of us can watch the game." it's not sold out yet!!!

WHY DOESN'T KFMB BUY SOME TICKETS SO THE REST OF US CAN WATCH THE GAME????:fire:

capt. mike - 11-27-2009 at 09:16 AM

look what KC did to the Steelers!
Bob - if i have to eat my words i want some hot sauce from Danny's taco stand.:!::o:fire::yes:

cabobaja - 11-27-2009 at 08:21 PM

Woody, your right on! NFL has given the Chargers an extra 24 hours to sell 1,350 tickets so the game will not be blacked out in SD. Ticket office will open two hours early tomorrow @ 8:00am.

I am a little confused. Only 1,350 tickets need to be sold. Why can't KFMB/CBS
buy the remaining tickets? How much dough do the TV rights produce? Why do they not buy the tickets and give to kids/families that normally cannot afford to see the game.

Chargers: 35 KC: 9

We'll work it out... no hurry. Audrey and I are headed to Germany and Italy this Saturday for a couple of weeks.

Dang, I may miss a Charger game or two.... !
Bob H

capt. mike - 11-30-2009 at 02:07 PM

you can watch it on line via computer from anywhere in the world with DIRECTV NFL pass.
have fun in Deutschland Robert.

Bob H - 12-26-2009 at 11:39 AM

The Chargers have really impressed me now... beating Tennessee 42-17 away.... WOW!

Bring any team on now and the Chargers will beat them! Philip Rivers is the MAN! Those big receivers help, right?

They win home field advantage and a bye week for the playoffs.

Bring on the Redskins... they don't have a prayer!

I agree... I would think Norv will rest some of the starters with the Redskin game, no? At least in the 2nd half, for sure.

It's just a great situation for the Chargers right now! Almost like a 2-week bye...
Bob H

DENNIS - 12-26-2009 at 01:09 PM

Hey...How about that changing of the date and venue for the 2010 Pro Bowl. It's going to Miami to be played a week before the Super Bowl. I can't imagine any of the players scheduled for the Super Bowl being allowed to play in the Pro Bowl....injuries and all that.

Bajahowodd - 12-26-2009 at 01:31 PM

To the contrary. The main reason they changed the schedule was because the Pro Bowl coming after the Super Bowl was big time anti-climactic. They now insert it between the last playoff games and the Super Bowl where previously there was a two week lapse. They figure there will be more interest this way. Not certain about historic attendance in Honolulu, but this year, Dolphin season ticket holders got first crack at pro Bowl tix.

As for the Chargers. They started out crappy and I was feeling like it was going to be a lost season. Boy was I wrong! That said, as much as I like the bolts, I just don't know that they will get past the Colts. It looks like there may be history made. And coincidentally, how about the Colts finishing up an undefeated season in the place that is home to the only club to ever have done that?

Remember this.... the Chargers have the Colts number.

Look what happened in 2005

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/84958-colts-chargers-some...

Also... The Chargers earned regular-season and post-season victories over the Colts in 2007. In a contest last January 13 featuring six lead changes, San Diego scored the clinching touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to produce a 28-24 Divisional Playoff victory at Indianapolis!

The Colts fear us! GO CHARGERS!!!
Bob H

Bajahowodd - 12-26-2009 at 04:30 PM

Hey Bob. I don't have a horse in that race. Only thing I can say is that Peyton Manning is one very cool dude. Who cannot like the guy who does all those TV spots seeming to be a goof, only to watch him on Sunday and marvel at his athleticism. My take on this, bearing in mind that anything can happen between now and them, is that there will be no losers. If the Chargers prevail, cool! If Manning manages to navigate the Colts to an undefeated season, cool.

Bob, are you in Europe now?

Capt. Mike, the Christmas Chargers/ Titans Evening game was on CBS nation-wide... There should be a CBS affiliate in Phoenix so you could watch on your cable or antenna... That's how we saw it.

Go Bolts... Long time since they were last in the Super Bowl (1994/95 season)!

Pulling the MVP quarterback in the third, when there was still a reasonable chance to come back?? Putting in a rookie who never took a snap in the NFL? Go figure. But, it still looks like the Bolts and Colts will have a meeting in a few weeks.
